Dear Judy you write the best books in the world there so good i've already read all the Fudge books my favorite one is Fudge-a-mania I like the last part when buzzy senior marries Peters grandmother.Right now I am reading Blubber i've heard it one of your best ones in the best series thanks to you i'm not always board. And tales of the fourth grade nothing was my first book i've read in your series. And I just got finished SuperFudge I found out Tootsie was born in that one because the book I read before SuperFudge was Double Fudge and Tootsie was already born.

Sincerely

Madison

I got a degree in English because I loved reading, due to reading your books (as well as Norma Klein. I don't have children, but I reread your books every year or so and I get sommething new out of them. For instance, every summer, I reread Wifey, Summer Sisters and Forever! I love these books and I feel like I knew these cgaracters inside and out. You make me happy, even in my 40"s! Bless you, Jume Blume!!

Hi.For some reason i've been thinking about all the books i used to read as a young teenaged girlie and of course Judy Blume's books popped up! I can't say how much her books helped me! Not only because i loved to read and they were available on "teenager fiction" shelf But also because they helped me think like a teenaged girl. Develop like a teenaged girl. Deal with things happening to me, around me. I remember one book, in particular - "it's me Margaret"..... during that time I was not having the best relationship with my mother, either and it's crazy how this book was at my disposal just at the time i needed it!It may sound insane to some people, but the books we read at those young ages shape us in many ways. I'd just like to really really thank you for sharing your talent with me and many of my friends during our younger years! I see you've got some books for adults as well. Thanks, Judy!!! For catering!!! Em.

I loved to read you're books when I was much younger and still fondly remember the joy I had while reading them. My friends 9 year old niece started telling me about several books she has recently been reading and they happened to be written by you. It was such a joy to see and hear that kids today are still enjoying your work. Goes to show you how, regardless of time, your novels are still loved and enjoyed.

I LOVE your Fudge books! They're great! I wish I could meet you some day. Your books keep getting more and more exciting as I read them. My mom read them when she was a girl, and now we're reading them together. My mom and i plan to write some books. I hope they're as good as yours! I am sure your other books are great, too. Dear Ms. Blume,
My niece, Nadia, who is 9 years old loves to read your books. She is very fond of your Fudge books. When I visit her our favorite time is reading together at bedtime. She asked me to "write" to you on her behalf. Her favorite one is "Otherwise known as shiela the great". She would like her chararcter to continue to develop. She would love to have other shiela books.
Thanks for widening her imagination.

Dear Ms. Blume,

I read all of your books when I was growing up in NYC in the 70s, have read many of your books out load to my older son until he started reading them himself and am now reading them to my seven year old. Our family are fans!

I do have one request: I just read a more recent edition of Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great to my younger son. I was disappointed to see mentions of CD players and personal computers, none of which existed at the time the book was written. I understand from doing research on line that the later versions of your books have been revised to "update" them. I urge you and your publisher NOT to make changes to your original text. Your books are timeless but also take place at a very specific time in history. There is no reason to change references to older technology. Kids will figure out what the "old stuff" is and the original text presents a great opportunity for discussions about how things have changed. (Also there is no way to keep up -- we don't even own a CD player anymore!) Both times I read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing to my children I had to explain what getting "mugged" meant. NYC is so safe now they didn't know anyone who had been mugged. When I was growing up in NYC and reading your books getting mugged was a common experience.

With many thanks for all your wonderful books. Don't change a word!

Best,

Andrea
