- The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Cultural Center hosts Judy Blume. Judy will be in conversation with Zibby Owens about finding writing as a release, developing her fictional voice, coping with success she’d never imagined and her long-time activism against book banning. Tuesday, May 13 at 6:00 (in-person & online event).
- On behalf of the City of Miami Beach and the Commission for Women, Judy Blume received the “2025 Miami Beach Exemplary Woman Award.”

- The National Book Critics Circle announce that Judy Blume is the recipient of its Ivan Sandrof Lifetime Achievement Award for exemplifying how literacy and literary access lead to liberation. March 21, 2024 was the awards ceremony.
