Hi Judy!! I grew up reading all your books as a child. One of the greatest and most memorable gifts I recieved was the Judy Blume Diary. It was so meaningful to me that as an adult, I purchased one for my little sister and later one for my own daughter. I now want to give one to my granddaughter for Xmas, but they are no longer available. I was just wondering why. Thank you so much!

Dear Mrs. Blume,
We have a couple of questions for you:
Did your son, Larry, swallow a turtle like Fudge did in Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing?

Hi!
This is SUCH a long shot - but I really need to try.
My coworker Kate is a HUGE fan of your books and is now about to have a baby. We are putting together a baby shower for her at work and I was wondering if there was any way you would be able to send a quick 30 second video for her?
It would be amazing.
Thank you for your time,
Katii

Hi, my name is Gracie. I am 14 years old and a HUGE fan of your books. I absolutely love how relatable they are. A lot of them seem to mimic my own thoughts and feelings. Reading your books has inspired me to write my own and, if you get a chance, I'd love to hear some advice on the publication process, or any other aspect of writing in general. Thank you so much, and have a wonderful day!

Dear Judy Blume,
I love your book so much. I loved when they were at the shoe store and fudge wanted the same shoes as peter so they tricked him. I thought it was funny. I also liked when Mr. Hatcher told fudge to eat it or wear it when they were at burger fever and fudge wiping mashed potatoes on the walls and dumped peas on his head. Every chapter i've read so far was very funny. You are my favorite author i have read about and I love you.

Dear Judy, I love your books, and sometimes I write my own stories, too. My dream is to be an author someday, just like you! Everyone in my classroom hates reading books, and I'm the only one that likes it. I feel like books are my best friend. They have so much exciting parts that you can't stop reading. I'm 11 years old but I want a head start on becoming an author, any tips?

Hi, I will always be a huge fan of your books. I love that you write real life things that children can connect to.
I was wondering when "Are You There God" was republished with the curse words changed/revised. I am working on a report for a class I am taking and would love more information on this.

Hi Judy, I was first introduced to your work back in the fall of 1978, in the fourth grade, when my teacher read "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" to the class, which led to a love for your Fudge series. Unfortunately, besides Tales, I've only read "Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great" and "Superfudge". My enjoyment of those books was one of my inspirations for taking up writing, as well as helping foster my lifelong love of reading. Thank you for giving the world the tales of Peter Warren Hatcher, his friends, and family.

Thank you very much for a lifetime of wonderful books.I'm not sure I would have survived adolescence without you.For many of us you were our only teacher regarding puberty and sexuality.I hate the fact that some people are trying to censor your work.If only they knew the enormous impact you have had upon our lives.Keep fighting.

I loved your books as a young girl and I just saw that Are You There God Its Me Margaret will be made into a movie which I can't wait to see. As a 49 year old woman, I am now in the position I was in back when I was a tween and early teen but now its for menopause. I think it would be so funny if Margaret came back to talk about her hot flashes, mood swings and the hormonal breakouts. Just a thought. I would totally buy the book as would most of my friends of the same age.

Hello Judy,
I was reading Super Fudge to my 8 year son, when I was shocked to read this line: We dumped our worms out on the sidewalk and cut all but one in half (Superfudge Page 59). Yes worms regenerate, but I feel this is not appropriate and cruelty towards animals. Let me know your thoughts.

Dear Judy Blume,
I really like your Fudge books. They are very funny. My favorite of your books is Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. My favorite part is when Fudge ate the turtle? Did you know that I am going to be Fudge? I am going to dress up as him for my school costume party. By the way, are you ever going to write more fudge books after Double Fudge? Again, I really love your Fudge books.
Love,
♥Conrad♥

Dear Mrs. Blume,
I want to thank you for essentially being one of my most favorite authors during my childhood. Your book, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, was a staple of my childhood. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I re-read that book because of how much I loved it. I also read Blubber and, knowing someone who was severely bullied much like Linda was, it hit close to home. It's incredible that the book was written 44 years ago and still seems so relevant today. That's what makes a true masterpiece; when a work is timeless. I wanted to let you know that I'm an aspiring writer myself and you were one of the earliest influences I had. You weren't afraid to tackle heavy subject matter that many to this day do not dare to tread. You showed me that controversy should be embraced, not rejected. For all of this I thank you Mrs. Blume and wish you nothing but success.
