Dear Judy,
When I was a girl, my grandmother filled my bookshelves with your books, along with other great writers like Dahl and Lewis. I didn't know it then, but reading these books planted the seeds (slow growing) for me becoming and being a writer. I have just finished my first novel and recently began the agent query path. Today, I looked you up to read about your story as a writer and found your encouraging words. Your story and success as a writer is inspiring. I am most inspired by what you wrote about "writing from deep inside because you have to." I have not fallen in love with revision work, but I'm going to give falling in love with it a chance, especially reading aloud...thank you.
I just sent Suzanne Gluck a query because anyone who knows your work will hear your influence on mine. Maybe she'll bite??? My Delfina is much like your Margaret. Thank you for taking the time to post here. Once again, 30 years later, you've made a difference for me.

Hello Judy Blume, My Name Is Yinelly And Im In The 11th Grade. For My English Class We Were Ordered To Write A Book Report About A Author And I Picked You. I'm Really Interestend In Your Stories, I Find Them Quit Unique. I Have 5 Questions To Ask You And I Would Be More Then Happy If You Would Answer Them
1. My Favorit Book That You Wrote Was "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret", What Were You Thinking About Or Better Yet, What Came To Mind When You Wrote The Book ?
2.So Far For All The Books I Read From You Were Children Books. Are You Or Have You Ever Thought About Writing Books For Teens Or Adults ?
3.If Im Correct, Your Favorit Subject Was English Because You Loved To Read And Write. So Is That When You Thought In Your Head "Im Going To Be A Writer"?
4.When You Was Young You Made Up Stories In Your Head. Are Those The Same Stories That Are Being Read Around The World Now?
5.Has Any Of Your Children Thought About Or Has Wrote A Book Ever In There Life ?
Thank You So Much Ms.Blume. God Bless And I Hope To Hear From You x...Yinelly

Dear Judy,
My best friend, Karlie, and I love your books! Once she gets done with one, she gives it to me. When I get done with one, I give it to her. Did you have D.A.R.E. growing up? That is a program that teaches kids to stay away from drugs and violence. I won seconed place on my essay contest. I also won the prize for being a role modle staying away from drugs and violence. Karlie and I do very well in school. At first, we weren't the best students, we talked and didn't listen a lot during class. But after we read your blog and how you were, we cleaned up our acts. I am in the fifth grade. Next year I will be in the middle school part of our school. I'm so nervous that I will not find my locker, or forget my classes. Hopefully Karlie and I will be in a lot of the same classes.
Your Friend,
Jaicee W.

Respected Mrs. Blume,
I have read some of your books like Otherwise known as Sheila The Great and Blubber. THey are totally fantastic and i loved the feeling within me when i was reading them. The special thing about your books which I feel is that, they make someone feel as if they are the character in the story, because they have events which people of my age or older face in their daily life. Thank you for writing such wonderful books and I look forward to reading more of them.

Hi Judy
I love your Fudge series! Because you get millions of letters saying "I want another Fudge book" I think readers have to help you with making ideas for the book rather then just saying they want another book. I've been stuck with an idea for the new book and so here it comes:
Peter is older and in one year he's going to college. Fudge is annoying in a different way (no tantrums, whining or stuff like that). Melissa moves out of Jimmy Fargo's old apartment and a new girl moves in there. Peter falls in love with her. The only person he can tell about that is (now Tamara) Tootsie The story could also have parts from the girls perspective. The name of the new book could be: A quirky love story with my brother Fudge.
You don't have to respond or even look at this; I just feel good that I got mt ideas out.

Dear Judy,
Hi, we're one of your biggest fans. Skyler, Kayla, Maniyah, and Quan. We're writing a book report on you, in school. We love your Fudge books. Can you make more, please!? Are you and George still married? We all say Bye!!
Sister Lou
Dear Judy,
Please consider writing a novel with the main character with the math learning difference of discalculia. I know reading is important: I am a writer, past teacher, and librarian. Failure is especially devastating when a child or young person doesn't understand why. I know I didn't.
zoey
I love all the books especially Just As Long As Were Together!

Im Doing A Famous Author Project On You && I Really Like Your Books.!(:

I just wanted to let you know that "Then Again, Maybe I Won't" was my favorite book for the duration of middle school, and I read almost a book a week, so that's saying a lot.
I re-read it as an adult recently, and I completely understand why I liked it so much. It was a breath of fresh air in a sea of a bunch of either fantasy or sports books, or books that tried really hard to drive home a "message," none of which particularly interested me. It dealt with real emotions in a non-condescending way, and I really appreciated that. To be honest, I was amazed when I eventually found out the author was a female (It's not like your name was hidden, I just never thought about it.) I just identified with it so much, it was weird that a "girl" (middle school me put the quotes around that) described my emotions so perfectly.
I mainly just wanted to send this because I see your name all over the place, but I never hear anything about "Then Again, Maybe I Won't." I just wanted to let you know that that particular book means a whole lot to someone out there.
rakaela
I like your book they are cool and funny

My special ed class of seventh and eighth grade students loved responding to what we read each day in Superfudge. They wrote about their own experiences of (not) welcoming a new baby, running away from home (even if it was only to the next door neighbor) and the trials and adventures of life with siblings. They laughed a lot at Fudge and Tootsie but also laughed as they shared their own experiences.
