- The Women’s National Book Association (WNBA) presented it’s 2025 WNBA Award to Judy Blume on May 31, 2025.

- The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Cultural Center hosted Judy Blume in conversation with Zibby Owens about finding writing as a release, developing her fictional voice, coping with success she’d never imagined and her long-time activism against book banning. This in-person & online event was Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
- On behalf of the City of Miami Beach and the Commission for Women, Judy Blume received the “2025 Miami Beach Exemplary Woman Award.”

- In New York on September 25, 2024, Judy Blume hosted Symphony Space’s “Selected Shorts.” The evening brought to life compelling & thought-provoking stories on frequently censored topics, & by authors whose books have been the target of bans.
- The National Book Critics Circle announce that Judy Blume is the recipient of its Ivan Sandrof Lifetime Achievement Award for exemplifying how literacy and literary access lead to liberation. March 21, 2024 was the awards ceremony.
- The Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill & the Fisher Center at Bard College presented Judy Blume the first-ever Eleanor Roosevelt Lifetime Achievement Award for Bravery in Literature. The awards ceremony was Saturday, February 17, 2024.
